Long Range Systems Introduces Rechargeable Alphanumeric Pager

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Dallas, TX – Long Range Systems (LRS) introduces its new SP5 rechargeable alphanumeric on-site server and manager pager. Durable and reliable, the SP5 is powered by a NiHM battery that lasts much longer than standard Alkaline batteries. It also warns you when battery power is low.

The new pager features an easy-to-read twenty-character, single-line display. The display is scrollable so messages as long as 255 characters can be sent. It’s field programmable and provides multiple tone alerts. For silent paging, the SP5 includes variable vibration strength and several vibe modes. Multiple tones and vibrations let busy servers know who is paging them without having to look at the display.

The SP5 is FCC and CE approved. It includes a slightly textured surface to reduce dropping. Plus, a built-in out-of-range indicator warns the user they are about to go beyond the transmitters reach.

With the addition of the SP5, LRS now gives you the choice of three pagers to use with its line of wireless server paging systems. LRS server paging systems work like this: When a server comes in for their shift, they take a pager and program it to their server number. When an order is ready, the chef simply presses one or two buttons on the LRS transmitter to instantly page the server.

LRS server pagers keep customers happier because they receive faster service. Plus, it improves server performance so restaurants get faster table turns and higher check averages.
